The Castle Hotel is generally appreciated for its clean, comfortable rooms and ample cooked breakfast, with some noting convenient features like charger points and well-equipped bathrooms. The building exudes an authentic charm, and its location allows quick access to the Autobahn while also placing it within easy reach of Leicester. Some guests have found the vegetarian roast dinner options to be somewhat underwhelming in terms of portion size. Free WiFi is available across the premises, and on-site parking adds to the convenience.

the staff were friendly. pam and caroline (i think they are the breakfast staff) were really good. we liked the service. they were always polite and would do anything for you.
i booked a king size room. it was quite small. the radiator pipe went alongside the bed. it made the room really hot even when the radiator was off. (i am 5'6) and the bed was a bit short.

Very nice Staff and Superb Service!

helpful staffgreat servicenoisy room
The staff were friendly and helpful, even offering an upgrade! A staff member helped me with my luggage and took it to the car. Breakfast had a superb service from Caroline and her team. The food was great, with gluten-free options available!
The king bedroom was really dark and small. It was just in front of kitchens. It was noisy with fans on all night.
Service

The staff were very good. They willingly dealt with my luggage and took it out to the car in the morning. Staff addressed my dietary requirements quickly and without fuss. They also looked after me very well!

I got a lovely excellent sized room. The room included a hairdryer, ironing board, kettle, tea, and coffee. There was a note to say fresh milk was provided if wanted. The bathroom benefitted from a walk-in shower.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and warm. The breakfast was great (especially the choices!). The dinner at the pub was excellent.
My room was near the kitchen. The noise level was high. The TV did not have a good picture. I found this disappointing.
