harbour location excellent boat trip substantial breakfast tiny room small bathroom bacon absence

the hotel location is right next to the harbour. i took a boat trip to farne islands and lindisfarne so it was excellent for that. the breakfast was very good and substantial. there was a very good outside area to sit.

for the cost the room was tiny! i couldn't move in the bathroom without dancing with the door, it was really small. it took ages for them to replenish it!

mixed feelings about the stay

unfriendly staff car park view

The room overlooked the car park (i had hoped for a sea view, especially given the price). the staff weren't particularly friendly. A simple 'did you have a nice stay? ' would have been appreciated. it felt impersonal, and i think small gestures like that make a big difference.
