the room felt quite outdated, needing some refurbishment (especially given the price). the mattress had noticeable dips. it made for an uncomfortable sleep. additionally, the room was quite cold at night. i found it difficult to regulate the temperature to my liking.

My room was in the wing away from the castle. it was the cheapest on offer, so i was unsure of what to expect. it was a lovely double room. nicely decorated, furnishings and the bathroom were all scrupulously clean and in good repair. It even had a bath with a shower. in the morning, there was plenty of hot water..
the duvet was wafer thin. room was very cold at night! there was no personal control over the room temperature. i found this slightly inconvenient.

The walls were thin. I could hear everything from the adjacent rooms, even normal conversations. the bathroom looked outdated with worn seals and the shower had very weak water pressure. this.
