Weddings: 16th century Altar for ceremonies

Pet-friendly: Limited rooms for dogs

“Barony Castle, while steeped in history as a former 16th-century castle, seems to balance its heritage with modern comforts, especially given its on-site leisure spa and award-winning afternoon tea; however, some areas appear to need refurbishment, as reported by recent guests. The family-friendly approach, with pet-friendly policies and proximity to outdoor activities like Glentress Forest, is a definite plus, but I believe the hotel needs to ensure consistent quality throughout its facilities. Ultimately, Barony Castle could be an excellent choice with some targeted improvements.”
