The staff were nice. They were very helpful! the room was spacious. It included a nice kitchen. instructions for working every appliance were clear, i appreciated that.
The hotel looked old. It has been renovated a long time ago with old furniture. i heard a very strong noise from the bathrooms. one of them had a drain pipe sound from the upper apartment and the other one had a pump out strong sound.

fantastic location and quiet comfort
great location mini kitchen fluffy pillows amazing shower
the location is amazing for exploring nearby attractions. the hotel is very close to the royal mile and arthur's seat. i found the little kitchen very handy. the pillows were nice and fluffy (i like fluffy pillows!). i appreciated the shower, it just felt amazing.
i found that the floor and doors made quite a bit of noise. the sound insulation between the rooms was not great.

the staff was nice and friendly . the 24/7 reception service was very helpful. having so much coffee available in the tubs was a bonus, as you usually only get a few sachets.

i loved the breakfast and snack items, it was a perfect way to start each day! the location is great, right off of high street. the staff were friendly when i arrived, very polite and helpful.
there was a musty smell in communal hallways.
