the setting is beautiful with clear views. the minibus was reliable and prompt for airport transfers. our room was equipped with tea and coffee facilities, including a good-sized mug. the pool and jacuzzi area was clean and relaxing after a long day.
the corridor felt slightly cramped when other guests were passing through.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. they always inquired about my daily plans , including boat times to the other islands , which i found considerate. the hotel grounds provided views of the surrounding islands , which i enjoyed. the ability to explore the garrison from the hotel was a definite plus.
i found spiders and cobwebs beside the bed on my first day. there was also a dead spider in the corner of the window , which i reported to the duty manager. she removed them , but i felt she was not sufficiently concerned about the initial issue.

the single story chalet room named 'guth' became my little haven, it presented views across serene gardens i found peace in its generous space and the large bed the hotel provided a heated pool i enjoyed a relaxing swim the staff offered a fine selection of teas coffee and biscuits in the room
i noticed the room lacked shelving i would have appreciated some space to arrange my things despite this minor detail the wardrobe space sufficed

The setting was charming
I booked the lobster lunch expecting the Vine Restaurant described online. I found it was not the case the lobster lunch was served either in the dungeon bar or outside. The website still advertises wine tasting and lobster lunches at a Vineyard. The receptionist stated it was just a picture of a Vineyard, I found it misleading

The staff picked up luggage at the ferry and returned it upon departure.
The kettle cord was short, and I had to place it on the floor near the window to plug it in. The room was small enough that I bumped my head on the sloped window more than once. The bathroom seemed quite dated, needing an update to match the rest of the hotel.
