The staff were courteous and helpful. I found the food delicious. The foyer and downstairs areas, including the bar, restaurant, breakfast room, and coffee shop, were very good. I noted the rooms need refurbishment along with the upstairs corridors, but it did not detract from my visit.
I found no herbal tea selection in the room. I asked for two Earl Grey and two chamomile tea bags at the bar and was charged for them. I thought this was ridiculous, as it is customary to have these complimentary.

the breakfast was very good, i enjoyd it. the food was tasty and there were many options. the hotel offered free parking which helped a lot. the room had air conditioning, that was a great thing.
the room felt cold, and i was unable to take a shower since it was positioned above a bathtub instead of being walk-in.

i always enjoy staying here. the front desk staff has greeted our group with enthusiasm and smiles. the food is lovely, we love from breakfast to the carvery lunch and amazing dinners. the bar service offers great locations and lovely service.
the hotel was last revamped i believe 2001, so the room furnishings looked of that vintage.
