i appreciated the cafe and deli located close to the building it opens at 10 and provides vegan options i found an open water swim i could enjoy i also had a complimentary visit to the castle ashby gardens

the hotel includes beautiful sun-drenched terraces where i enjoyed quiet moments the hotel also offers well-kept gardens perfect for relaxed strolls after a lovely dinner this feature greatly adds to the serene atmosphere.

my room had super clean decor with attention to the finer details i found the bedding to be comfortable like sleeping on a fluffy cloud i had sublime toiletries in the bathroom which enhanced my relaxation.

mixed feelings about this stay

pitiful shower pressure stifling hot room

the food was acceptable.

I found the cottage room stifling hot, even with the dyson fan. the shower pressure was pitiful. You couldn't turn the taps on without getting wet, and the shower screen banged the sink. it seemed like basic improvements that air bnbs offer weren't there, unfortunately.

superb stay!

The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. I really felt welcomed. the eyas restaurant was amazing. Every meal there became a highlight of my stay. i also liked the lovely gardens. I was able to sit outside.

The service charge on the bill was unexpected when ordering drinks at the bar. It seems quite underhand, though the service was good overall.

The linens and bed were super comfy, i slept very well. the room included a well-stocked minibar with complimentary soft drinks and snacks. I appreciated the selection offered .

The hotel has beautiful, sunny terraces. I found them perfect. the gym has three treadmills and two stationary bikes, i kept up with my exercises! there is also free parking, the space is ample.

a pleasant visit

clean room underfloor heating fast wifi closed restaurant broken charger high price

my room was very clean upon arrival. i really liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom. the wifi connection was secure and fast. this made it easy to do some work emails.

this meant there was no breakfast or evening meal available on site. the ev charger did not work, so i had to find another charging location. i felt the price was too high for just a room.
