A Nice Stay
comfortable bed walk-in shower molton brown products smooth check-in
The check-in process was smooth. The room had a very comfortable large bed. The bathroom included both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. I also noticed that the toiletries provided were Molton Brown products.
The hotel is located a short distance from the main road, requiring a drive through a slightly rough area to reach it.

The hotel is situated in a rural area. it is still accessible to local attractions and amenities, offering the best of both worlds. Guests can easily explore the surroundings and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The food presentation was of high quality. The menu offered good variety. I found the Christmas decor beautiful and very cute. The surroundings matched the interior. (I liked the festive menu very much.)

vile cocktail lacking atmosphere
The bar service disappointed ME. I ordered a cocktail. It was vile. The waiter who made it didn't seem impressed when i didn't like it though they removed it from the bill, there were no apologies. not MUCH atmosphere.

accommodating staff friendly service professional service
i found the staff wonderfully accommodating . my wife was allowed to stay at the hotel after i checked out for work, and they looked after her well. the service felt consistently friendly and professional.
the room lacked a fridge.

unique touches standard hotel
The room decor included many unique touches. The Bourbon Queen room had features that set it apart from a standard hotel room.

friendly staff claw foot tub loud music plastic container
the staff was very friendly. they gave smiles. the room was cute. i loved the claw foot tub. it was my favorite.
our room was directly above the function room. loud music continued till after midnight. it was not romantic. a plastic container was below for drips. that wasn't a pleasant sight.

thin walls slow service
the staff were helpful. they quickly addressed a minor issue with the room lighting.
The noise was a problem. i could hear everything. the walls seemed thin, i was disturbed by sounds from neighboring rooms and the hallway. also, the breakfast service was slow. It took a long time to get our order.

old furniture cold floor
I was really let down by the room. the furniture looked old. It even had holes and scratches. there was no carpet, so the floor felt cold.
