a gentle haven

We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the staff made it special. we had the double or twin room sea view. Its view was like a poem. each morning, sunlight painted the room in soft hues. The waves whispered gentle melodies.
The bathroom lacked body lotion. A small detail, yet it would enhance the experience.

The staff was friendly enough, I guess.
The room was like a furnace. There was no air conditioning. I also noticed the gym closed ridiculously early at 4 PM on a bank holiday. Who closes a gym that early?
