the grounds were fine.

The room was not very clean upon check-in. Surfaces were not dusted. i put clean, dark clothes on the glass shelves in the bathroom while i took a shower, and when i took them off, they had dust lines all over them. also, there was a massive crack across the glass top of my bedside table.

the room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed i enjoyed the a la carte breakfast service this included delicious starters and mains the staff were always warm attentive and professional i found the hotel shuttle bus very helpful it easily transported me to nearby attractions i also found the quay restaurant to have excellent coffee i had it on the outside terrace enjoying lough views

the bathroom taps seemed to turn off in the opposite direction than expected that was quite annoying

The falconry school's staff shared so much knowledge! I also enjoyed the beautiful walks through quiet woodlands and heard such lovely birdsong (it was so peaceful!). The grounds are beautiful.

The pillows were too thin. My husband needed to stack three of them to be comfortable.
