The hotel grounds were well maintained and created a lovely atmosphere. Staff efficiently managed breakfast service, ensuring a good selection. My room in the main house offered ample space including a very large bathroom. Free parking added to convenience .

The building's original features blew me away. the entrance hall and reception area was beautiful. my room felt warm, comfy, well-equipped and quiet. the full breakfast was excellent. I found reasonably priced gourmet dinner too.

the mattresses need upgrading a bit. they were lumpy and soft. this made sleep less restful than i had hoped for.
