a fairly clean stay

the location was great. it was between Tottenham Court and Holborn tube stations. there was an elevator to upper floors. the staff were friendly and the check-in was simple.
the bathroom sink was blocked with grey sludge. water eventually seeped out and flooded the bathroom floor. the receptionist did not seem interested when i mentioned this. the decor of stairs and corridor was poor with missing carpets and ripped wallpaper.

I found the location quite convenient, very close to the Underground station. The cleanliness was amazing. The room was super clean upon arrival. The staff were professional. They assisted with check-in efficiently. I thought the price for the room was excellent. It provided great value.

I am frustrated with the extra charges. They charged £5 per bag for luggage storage after checkout. This was unexpected. A male staff member was also quite rude during departure. There was no food or drinks available for purchase at the hotel. Our room had a missing tile in the bathroom, painted over instead of replaced. This indicates poor maintenance. The hallways needed repainting, and the bathtub tap emitted a constant high-pitched noise. These issues need attention.
