“Location is a clear win, putting guests right in the heart of the action near Trafalgar Square. charming visit near trafalgar square
central location efficient staff functional kitchenette cityscape view
i found the hotel conveniently situated close to major attractions. the staff was amiable and efficient, notably during check-in. my room included a functional kitchenette with a microwave and hob. the cityscape view from my room was rather nice, i enjoyed it.
the flavored coffee pods provided were not particularly to my taste, so i just grabbed something in a nearby café.
Location
9/10
the hotel is near trafalgar square. embankment and charing cross tube stations are close, giving access to many areas. the proximity to historical sites and tourist spots is very useful.
Dining
8/10
the hotel bar closed at midnight, even with patrons requesting service. breakfast service happens in one half of the bar area, it seems a bit small. the continental breakfast selection had ample options.
Facilities
9/10
a living room offers complimentary coffee to guests. the grand building features some city views and grand architecture. the front desk staff was bubbly and very helpful, which enhanced the experience.

central location done right
helpful staff clean room comfortable bedding central location
nalin at the front desk was helpful. the room was clean, the bedding felt very comfortable, and i had great transportation options nearby. the hotel is close to many attractions and a tesco is just a short walk away, really useful.
the room décor felt somewhat dated, and the small window provided limited natural light.
Rooms
9/10
the superior queen room had good shower pressure and soft pillows. quick and easy access to the underground railway was a definite bonus. the size of the room was adequate for a solo traveller.

full length mirror coffee lounge opulent lobby
the lobby felt opulent with a full length mirror near a plug, great for doing hair. i found a complimentary coffee lounge plus a working area which was convenient. trafalgar square was just minutes away, very convenient for transport.
the room was warm, however it was a little too stuffy, it gave me a slight headache.

noisy air conditioning cold bathroom
the staff provided excellent service.
I found the room quite outdated. the air conditioning was excessively noisy and difficult to regulate. The room, especially the bathroom, remained very cold. heating required the air conditioning to operate at its highest level, amplifying the noise, i found this unacceptable.

warm room comfortable room individual desk free coffee
i found the room warm and quite comfortable. i especially liked the club quarters lounge. it provided free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. the lounge also included individual desks. these offered internet access (so practical!). i could work quietly there instead of in my room.
the coffee machine offered only flavored options that didn't quite match my personal taste.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel featured a well-equipped business center, allowing guests to stay productive. the fitness center included modern cardio machines and free weights (perfect for a quick workout!). complimentary water stations were conveniently located throughout the premises.
Dining

the on-site restaurant offered a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, including hot and cold selections. i noticed that gluten-free choices were also available. the bar served a selection of cocktails and snacks until midnight.
Service

nalin at the front desk offered a warm welcome and helpful suggestions. the staff efficiently stored luggage before check-in and after check-out. i appreciated their assistance with directions to nearby attractions.
