The room was clean and provided coffee making facilities. The bathroom had plenty of towels, and the shower had a strong stream. I found the underground car park useful. I registered for it upon arrival.
I was not able to get a drink when I arrived. The bar did not open until 5 PM. When I returned to the bar at 11:20 PM, it was closed. The staff did not call last orders or advise that the bar would be closing.

the staff were friendly, and the food was acceptable.
The room was too hot. Even with the radiator off, it was difficult to sleep. reception said a room change was not possible due to the hotel being fully booked. i found this unacceptable considering the discomfort.

The hotel offered a great location. It was an easy walk to the town. The castle views were definitely a highlight. I also found the breakfast delicious.
I stayed when there was an event. The noise levels were unacceptable! The wedding band played loudly until 2am. Clean-up noises continued until 4am. This included tables being dragged across the floor. The mattress felt too soft to me.
