“Recent feedback suggests that the property's quality has significantly improved, offering excellent rooms and services. I was particularly impressed by the spacious rooms and the delicious breakfast, notably the waffles. While the second-floor access via stairs might be a minor inconvenience, the beautiful grounds and overall experience make it a worthwhile stay, especially given its convenient location near Limerick City.”

Powered by AI
Castle Oaks House Hotel is often praised for its opulent atmosphere, especially the gardens and decor. The spacious apartments, some featuring kitchens, appeal to many, while the leisure centre's swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam, and sauna are frequently mentioned as welcome additions. Though some guests have noted that certain aspects of the facilities could benefit from some updates, the delicious dinner and breakfast options served in the lovely restaurant, with the amazing roast beef, are consistently highlighted, as is the proximity to the river for fairy-tale walks.

underwhelming stay

mismatched clothinguncertain staff
the bar area felt rather depressing , i must say. it was surprising i was not offered water or condiments when my food arrived. the staff seemed uncertain about table numbers, and i actually had to prompt them on how i wanted my steak cooked. the bar manager's attire also was rather mismatched for a supposed four-star hotel , wearing casual footwear and mismatched clothing.
