I found the location quite nice. The hotel room we had was very cosy. I liked that the heating was easy to adjust.
The towels in the shower were dirty upon arrival. The service at reception was poor. The staff seemed flustered. I think the waiter was TOO friendly.

the dinner menu felt limited. food was just alright, nothing really good. a senior barman acted rude when i accidentally bumped into him. it was really unprofessional and soured the experience somewhat.

I found the Sally Gardens Tom area good. It had very comfortable seating. Dinner and breakfast both were joyous experiences, offering great variety. I really enjoyed the serene, well-kept setting surrounding the entire hotel.
I noticed the bar area tables looked a bit worn. They could benefit from some updates.

Fantastic Golf Retreat

The breakfast was very generous. Gluten-free options such as cereal and bread were available. There was even a dedicated toaster. I enjoyed a Murphy's Irish Stout, as well as excellent desserts at the bar.
The shower had very strong water pressure. the toilet lid was loose. This made it slightly inconvenient.
