A Romantic Getaway!

The staff provided really good service, going above and beyond to meet my needs. They arranged a taxi for me early in the morning. The kitchen was closed later that evening, but staff arranged for a curry delivery to the hotel. James, the owner, even personally collected the rice when it was forgotten!!!
I couldn't find instructions for operating the heating on a particularly cold evening.

I found the breakfast was good. the staff were very friendly and helpful! i parked in the private courtesy car park. That was pretty convenient. helen gave a warm welcome upon arrival, and i really felt looked after.
there was quite a strong odour on entering the hotel and my room. i had trouble seeing where i was going when trying to find my room, as there were no lights on and i couldn't find any light switches. a henry hoover was right outside the door of the room! i tripped over it as i couldn't see it.

the room was clean and the location was convenient.
The corridor carpets looked very old and tired. the floorboards creaked quite loudly too. It was annoying. the wifi details were provided, but i could not connect to it at all. the shower had very little pressure. That was quite disappointing.

The location was convenient. I parked easily in the free parking area. I received a friendly greeting upon my arrival! The breakfast had many options.
I found it difficult to reach anyone by phone before arriving. The reception seemed unattended at times. The room looked somewhat outdated.
